Interview Situation: Promoting The Hunger Games – Part I

Interview Questions:

Q:What was your favorite part of making this movie?

A: “Oh, working with Liam Hemsworth (Gale) – no question! Liam is a great guy with a funny sense of humor. Every day that we filmed a scene together, he always found a way to make me laugh.”

Q: What was your favorite scene in this movie?

A:“I’d have to say that I enjoyed shooting the hunting scenes the most. We filmed in North Carolina and it’s so pretty there. The woods were also so peaceful. I really liked spending time there.”

Q:What were some of the challenges you faced with this movie?

A: “Learning to use the crossbow and arrow was a real challenge. We really wanted our acting to look real. Liam was a great help in those scenes. We worked together closely and helped each other figure out how to shoot the bow. It wasn’t easy at all!”

Q: How would you rate this movie compared to the other Hunger Games movies?

A: “This may be my favorite of the three movies we’ve made so far. It’s a more thoughtful movie; there really isn’t a happy ending. Katniss has to be more mentally than physically strong, so I had to think more about her feelings. I also enjoyed sharing the spotlight with the other characters. Katniss is less of a star than a co –star in this movie.”
