RECORD OF BOARD PROCEEDINGS (Minutes)
Ashland, Kentucky February 7, 2012
The Boyd County Board of Education met at Boyd County Board District Office at 7 PM on the 7th day
of February, 2012, with the following members present:
(1) Mr. Robert Green, Chairperson (2) Mr. Randall Stapleton, Vice Chairperson
(3) Ms. Tammy Pruitt (4) Ms. Theresa Jackson (5) Ms. Linda Day
The Boyd County Board of Education met on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at 7 PM for a special meeting at the Boyd County Board District Office, 1104 Bob McCullough Drive, Ashland, Kentucky. The purpose of the meeting was to approve a trip request from the Boyd County High School Cheerleaders.
Chairperson Green called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Board Order No. 119. On motion by Mr. Stapleton seconded by Ms. Pruitt and carried, the board adopted the agenda.
All Members Voting Yes.
Board Order No. 120. On motion by Mr. Stapleton seconded by Ms. Pruitt and carried, the Board approved to amend the correction and replacement to Action Item C with – “Consider superintendent’s recommendation to approve a trip request from the Boyd County High School Cheerleaders to travel to Orlando, Florida, to participate in the National High School Cheerleading Championships, February 9-14, 2012, travel by air.”
Board Order No. 121. On motion by Ms. Day seconded by Mr. Stapleton and carried, the board, upon superintendent’s recommendation, approved a trip request from the Boyd County High School Cheerleaders to travel to Orlando, Florida, to participate in the National High School Cheerleading Championships, February 9-14, 2012, travel by air.
All Members Voting Yes.
Board Order No. 122 On motion by Ms. Pruitt, seconded by Ms. Jackson and carried, the board adjourned the special meeting at 7:03 PM.
