Spelling Homework - Your choice!
Students may choose one of the following spelling activities for each day. In order to get credit they need to pass in one spelling assignment for each day Tuesday through Friday. Spelling tests are on Fridays. The words will be in a mixed up order on the test.
Create Flash Cards
Rainbow Words – Write your words in a variety of colors
Illustrate – Draw a picture for each word
Word Sort – Sort your words into categories and write them down.
Puzzle Words – cut your word cards into separate letters, mix them up, then put them back together. Glue your words onto a paper.
Spellingcity.com – enter your words into website spellingcity.com and play spelling games. **Please write a note saying your child did this so that they can get credit.**
Practice Test – Take a practice test, then correct.
Sentences – Write a sentence for each spelling word
Story – Write a story including your spelling words.
ABC Order – Write spelling words in alphabetical order
Fancy Font – Write your words in fancy letters (bubble letters, spooky writing, etc.)
Definitions – Define in your own words or using a dictionary

Magazine Search – Find your words in a magazine, cut and glue on new paper
