Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Initial Questionnaire

Thank you for your inquiry about the RPL process in the Department of Information Technology at CPUT. Please complete the following questions in the spaces provided (you may type up your responses and paste them in the appropriate sections). Once you have completed this questionnaire please attach it to the CPUT application from. In addition we need a comprehensive and current CV with a letter of motivation stating why you are applying for RPL. You are required to submit all this information, in hard copy to the Admissions Office on the Cape Town campus not later than the 30th June.
The first step in the RPL process is the completion of this questionnaire. Your responses will be reviewed by the RPL Facilitator in the Department of Information Technology. You will then be contacted about your application and may be invited to participate in additional processes which are part of the RPL procedures in the department.

Please take note before you apply for the RPL process please take note of the following conditions to your application:
-There is a new Diploma which is offered on a full-time basis ONLY, there are no longer part time classes.
-You have to register as a full-time student for the new Diploma programme
-The full-time programme takes place between 08:00 am – 16:00 pm from Monday to Friday
-A timetable will be provided for you regarding your class times and schedule should you be accepted into the new Diploma programme for Information Technology
