PQRI will confer three awards recognizing superior scientific contributions. The recipients of these awards have, through their research for PQRI, demonstrated the Institute’s commitment to advancing drug product quality and development.

Three “PQRI Excellence in Research” Awards will be conferred to representatives of industry, government and academia. Nominations for these Awards will be solicited from the PQRI Board, Steering Committee, Technical Committees and Working Groups,

PROPOSED NOMINATION: Summarize in your own words the specific achievement or contribution which inspired the nomination. Limit is 80 words.

BACKGROUND: Succinctly describe the reason for the nomination, including dates and significance of relevant accomplishments, their impact in the larger world, and the ways in which they meet the requirements of the award. Use complete sentences without abbreviations. Limit is 300 words. Additional biographical material may be attached but is limited to 3 typed pages.

PQRI Excellence in Research Awards

RULES

PQRI will confer three awards recognizing superior scientific contributions to the Institute. The recipients of these awards have, through their research for PQRI, demonstrated PQRI’s commitment to advancing drug product quality and development.

Criteria for Nominations:


To be eligible for nomination for an award, an individual must have:

·  Participated actively and constructively in at least one PQRI technical committee or working group.

·  Demonstrated a commitment to advancing drug product quality and development.

·  Set a standard for excellence for PQRI participants in general.

Any member of the PQRI Board, Steering Committee, Technical Committees or Working Groups may submit a nomination for these awards by following the rules below. Award recipients are selected by vote of the PQRI Steering Committee’s Recognition Committee. Committee members review the nomination forms and rank the candidates based on the significance of the accomplishments cited, their relevance to the specific award, and the timeliness of the nomination.

Rules:

1. The nominee must have been an active and contributory member of a PQRI initiative.

2. Self nomination is not allowed. Deceased members may be nominated.

4. An individual can only receive one award.

5. The form is available on the PQRI website. You may either submit the nomination directly from the website or you may download the nomination form into your computer for e-mailing as a Word document attachment.
