SECTION 11139

REAR PROJECTION SYSTEMS

***** Draper, Inc. manufactures the following systems and components for rear projection installations:

Rear Projection Systems (RPX) - System for supporting and accurately positioning projector and mirror in relationship to each other and to rear projection screen. There are four types of Rear Projection System:

RPX - Allows for field adjusting tilt and height of projected image.

RPX/Precision - Provides high precision adjustment in all six axes.

RPX/Lite - Lightweight frame for projectors weighing less than 50 pounds and

small mirror sizes. Usually requires more depth in a rear projection room.

RPX/Complete – Frame and rear projection screen attached to RPX unit,

Allowing for easier alignment between all three plains of the projector, mirror,

and screen.

Rear Projection Cabinets/Retro QA - Self-contained, transportable cabinets with

screen, projector cradle, mirror, and cooling fan.

Retro/QA can accommodate screens 40 to 200 inches (102 to 508 cm) diagonalaMultiScreen Systems - All-in-one, self-supporting display systems with multiple projector cradles, mirrors, and screens.

Rear Projector Support Structures - Steel framed system for supporting multiple projectors in an array to be used in conjunction with a video wall of multiple screens. Accessory components for Rear Projector Support Structures include Projector Alignment Platforms, Projector Transport Mechanisms, Electric Chain Hoist and Gliding Trolley, and Rolling Scaffolds, Reinforced mirrors, and other custom capabilities.

These systems and accessories are custom designed and manufactured to meet specific project requirements.
