The ICT course undergoes continuous controlled assessment for the duration of Year 10 and 11.
In addition to these formal assessments many subject areas will be carrying out internal assessments throughout the course of the year. These assessments are important to indicate the level of progress being made and the need for specific intervention. It is expected that learners will also carry out their own independent revision in addition to homework set to ensure they are fully prepared for internal and external examinations.
Some subject areas will also offer additional revision sessions to aid learners prepare fully for the demand of GCSE examinations and details of this will be forwarded nearer the time.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the school for further clarification.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs N. Preston
