The School Director of Student Experience and the Student Experience Officer are the only staff members in your School who have access to view exceptional circumstances claims for the School. You may contact your DoSE / SEO regarding your claim and they may offer support and explain what the decision may mean for you. Your School Office will be able to give you their contact details if you wish to contact them to make an appointment. Not all Schools have a Student Experience Officer, you will need to check this with your School office.
Your Academic Advisor can advise you on matters directly related to your studies, and discuss any concerns you may have about your academic progress. Please contact your School Office to make an appointment.
It may also be helpful to talk to a Student Life Advisor in the Student Life Centre who can provide non-academic advice, welfare support and information regarding support available on campus and in the local area. You can book to see an Advisor via your Sussex Direct Study tab or go to the Student Life Centre, Ground Floor, Bramber House. Tel: 01273 876767; email:
