Reading Rally Permission Slip
Readers Rally Competition is fast approaching. The team members have been working hard reading books and preparing for the Gwinnett Readers Rally 2007. The competitions are scheduled for the following dates. Please mark your calendars.
Gwinnett Readers Rally: Saturday, February 24th at Millcreek HS
Regional Bowl: Saturday, March 4th at Augusta State University
State Competition: Saturday, April 21st at University of Georgia
February 24th
Team Members should plan to arrive at Millcreek High School by 8:30 AM to check –in for registration. Competition will be from 9:00 AM to approximately 2:00 PM. Please notify us A.S.A.P if transportation is an issue. Snacks will be provided.
There is a possibility competition will finish earlier than 2:00. Please include 2 phone numbers where you can be reached, in order to call for early pick-up.
T-shirts for the team have been designed and ordered. We ask that each member contribute $15.00 to help offset the cost. Make checks payable to Creekland Middle School.
Teams that win 1st and 2nd place at the Gwinnett Readers Rally will advance to the Regional Bowl the following weekend. A transportation bus has been ordered for the trip to Augusta. The trip is scheduled from 6 AM to 6 PM. Details to follow if our team advances.
