EMMAUS –WELCOMING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.

Emmaus is a scheme run by the University Catholic Chaplaincy which seeks to foster friendships between English families and International Students during their time here. The aim is to give the students the opportunity to visit an English home, try some local food and have contact with a family. Some are thousands of miles from home! The commitment required from the families can be as little as getting together for a coffee from time to time, an invitation to Sunday lunch or perhaps a trip out together to the coast or Dartmoor.

If you are interested, please speak to Fr John Deeny

WELCOME TO OUR VISITORS

There is coffee after 10.30am. Mass in the Richard Reynolds Centre and PresbyteryGardens. You are most welcome to join us.

SWINE FLU PANDEMIC

While the swine flu virus is classified as grade 6 pandemic by the WHO, the bishop has directed parishes of this diocese to only give the sacred host (not the Precious Blood from the chalice) at Holy Communion, and that Communion is only to be given on the hand, not on the tongue. Thank you for your cooperation.
