1.08 Frankenstein
Have you ever heard of Frankenstein? Most people assume that Frankenstein is the monster who wreaks havoc on the townspeople, but, actually, the creature doesn’t have a name. Victor Frankenstein is the scientist, Dr. Frankenstein, who brings life to the monster. Elizabeth is an orphan girl who comes to live with the Frankenstein family and who, years later, is engaged to marry Victor.
The graphic novel begins in Chapter II of Volume I. The point of view is first person where Victor Frankenstein is the narrator.
Read the excerpt from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
