Paddle begins at 8 a.m. Friday at the Jeanerette City Park, continues at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Baldwin City Park and at 8 a.m. on Sunday at the Roseville Boat Landingin Franklin. Camping, light breakfast and lunch provided.

Entry is $50 for all three days or $20 per day
You MUST have your own boat.

I acknowledge and fully understand that I will be engaging in activities that may involve risk of damage to personal property or serious injury, including permanent disability and death and severe social and economical losses which might result not only from my own actions, inactions or negligence, but the actions, inactions or negligence of others, the rules of play, the condition of the premises or of any equipment used. Further, there may be other risks not known or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.
I assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for all expenses, medical or otherwise, following any such damages, injury, permanent disability or death.Knowing these facts and in considerations of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Friends of Bayou Teche Refuge, Black Bear Conservation Committee dba as Bayou Teche Black Bear and Birding Festival, The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and The Cities of Jeanerette, Baldwin and Franklin, and their successors and assigns, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the forgoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
I HAVE READ THE ABOVE WAIVER AND RELEASE, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND SIGNED IT VOLUNTARILY.

Friday, April 15: We will meet at 8:00 a.m. (sharp) at the Jeanerette City Park:
Directions to Jeanerette City Park coming from U.S. Hwy 90:
From Hwy. 90 take the Jeanerette exit (LA 668) which will turn into LA 671 at the caution light.LA 671 will take you to Main Street/LA 182 in Jeanerette where you will take a left. After the second traffic light on Main Street take a right onto Wormser Street then a left onto Tarleton. This will take you to the boat ramp.
Saturday, April 16: We will meet at 8:00 a.m. (sharp) at the Baldwin City Park.
Directions to Baldwin City Park coming from Hwy 90:
From Hwy. 90 take the Baldwin exit (LA 83) to LA182. Take a right onto LA182 then a left at the first traffic light onto Charenton Rd. (LA326). The Baldwin City Park will be on the right side about .25 miles from the traffic light.
Sunday, April 17: We will meet at 8 a.m. at the Roseville Boat Landing in Franklin.
Directions to Roseville Boat Landing from Hwy 90:
From Hwy 90 take the Franklin exit (LA3211) to LA182.
Take a right onto LA 182/ Main Street Franklin.The road will curve to your right at the grave yard on Main Street.Take a left onto Roseville. The boat landing is behind the graveyard.
