Welcome to the Idaho Youth Soccer State Cup 2013!! The entry form with payment of $595 is due to the IYSA State Office by close of business on MONDAY, JANUARY 14, 2013.
· U13-U17 Will be held in Idaho Falls May 24-27, 2013
· U18-U19 Will be held In Boise but NOT on Memorial Day weekend. The time and location of the event will be determined after the number of applicants is known. Currently the plan is to hold the event May 17-19 in BOISE in conjunction with Director’s Cup.
· UNLESS YOU OPT OUT BY CHECKING THE BOX ON THE APPLICATION, WINNERS OF STATE CUP OR THE HIGHEST PLACED TEAM THAT WANTS TO GO WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPETE AT THE FAR WEST REGIONAL TOURNAMENT IN HONOLULU HI, JUNE 17TH-23RD.
· US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup. The US Youth Soccer President’s Cup is designed for those teams (U13-U17) that are not State Cup champions, seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a national title. Regional qualifiers will determine the teams competing in the National President’s Cup in the U14 B/G through U17 B/G age groups.
· In 2013 the Region IV Presidents Cup is in Boise Idaho June 11-16, 2013
This means that teams will have the option of participating in the Region IV Presidents Cup if they DO NOT win State Cup and are the highest placed finisher in their age group that wishes to go. You must commit to wanting to participate at the time of submitting your State Cup application.
REMEMBER, teams that win State Cup and opt NOT to go to FWR in Hawaii DO NOT get the option of attending President’s Cup—State Cup winners are NOT permitted to compete in President’s Cup!
Idaho Youth Soccer will pay ALL entry fees for the US Youth Soccer Regional and Presidents Cup tournament should your team earn the right to go. HOWEVER, IF YOUR TEAM EARNS THE RIGHT TO GO AND YOU SUBSEQUENTLY BACK OUT, YOUR TEAM WILL BE FINED--this is because Region IV fines IYSA when this happens!

Key Dates
- January 14 State Cup Application and $595 entry fee due to IYSA
- May 10 Roster Freeze Date
- June 11-16 US Youth Soccer President’s Cup, Boise ID
- June 17-23 Far West Regionals, Honolulu HI
· If your team wins State Cup or you are the highest placed team that indicates on this application that you want to go - you are required to represent Idaho at the Far West Regionals.
· If your team does not win State Cup and you have checked the Presidents Cup Box and subsequently earn a spot, you are expected to represent Idaho at US Youth Soccer Region IV President’s Cup.
Please note that a $1500 fine, plus $800 per scheduled game penalty, will be assessed to the qualifying teams that do not attend FWR. A $1000 fine will be assessed for the qualifying teams that do not attend President’s Cup. Further sanctions may also be applied. Teams wishing to drop out of State Cup will NOT receive a refund of any kind should they pull out after the State Cup draw is made (early March) Any teams wishing to drop out of State Cup will require the written permission of the Director of Competition.
