Re: Request under Freedom of Information Act 2000

Thank you once again for your request under the Freedom of Information Act. For ease of reference I am including your original questions:

Please could I get an Organisational Structure Chart for your

Information Management and Technology Department, including the

names of managers responsible for the different teams included in

IM&T (eg. Data Management, Service Desk Management etc.)

Please could I also have the details of the amount of money spent

on recruitment during 2011/ 2012 within the Information Management

and Technology Department? I’m particularly interested in how

much money was spent on contractors - external consultants on an

hourly/ daily rate.

Unfortunately we are not able to provide data on hourly/daily rates as this is not entered onto out finance system. To obtain this information would require an audit of all invoices (c46,000) to extract the information assuming it was recorded there in the first place. This would take far longer than the 18 hours Appropriate Limit in the Act and therefore under Section 12 we are not obliged to provide this. However, we do have the following information about the about spent on Bank (our own internal temp agency) and Agency staff:
