Re: Notice of Annual General Membership Meeting
Monday, October 16, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.
Dear Homeowner:
The Annual Meeting of the Riverchase Homeowners Association will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Smith Public Library in the multipurpose room, 300 Country Club Rd Wylie, Texas 75098. Sign-in will begin at 5:45 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. once a quorum is established. The Association is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the State of Texas and, as such, is required to hold an Annual Meeting. The meeting has been called by the Board of Directors for the purpose of reviewing the Association’s financial and operational activity over the past year, electing new directors to fill three (3) expiring board terms and addressing any new business brought before the Association.
To conduct a homeowners meeting, a quorum of twenty percent (20%) of the members must be represented in person or by proxy. In order to be sure of a quorum, please sign and date the enclosed Proxy and return it by mail to Principal Management Group, Attn: LeAnne LaDew, 12700 Park Central Drive, Suite 600, Dallas, Texas 75251 or via fax to 214-361-7874 even if you plan to attend as unforeseen circumstances do occur. The Proxy will be returned to you upon your arrival at the meeting should you attend.
If a twenty percent (20%) is not achieved, the meeting will be adjourned. After 15 minutes, the Lack of Quorum provisions of the By-Laws (Paragraph 4.8) will be invoked which provides for a ten percent (10%) represented in person or by proxy.
