The Department of General Services and the California Technology Agency would like to improve IT procurement in California and would like to hear from you. Toward that end, an anonymous online survey has been developed. The survey has been designed to capture your input based upon your knowledge, interaction and experience with the IT procurement process. The link to the survey is: XXXXXX. Please complete the survey no later than October XX, 2012.
The results of the survey will help to inform the Information Technology Procurement Authority Workgroup (ITPAW), which has been established by the Administration to help answer the question: Should IT procurement authority continue with the Department of General Services or be transferred, in whole or in part to the California Technology Agency? The membership of the ITPAW is attached for your information.
In addition to the survey, the ITPAW will be meeting on October YY, 2012, and we would like to invite you to present and discuss this topic with members of the ITPAW. This meeting will be held at the XXXXXXX Auditorium and is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
