13. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by Natiional Open School, New Delhi and Pre-University Examination (New Scheme) of Andhra University with Physics, Chemistry & Maths or Biology have been debarred for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy by PCI vide letter No. 14-2/2006-PCI-5763-6337 dated 13 June, 2007.
14. LIC Group Insurance of the Students Pursuing Technical Education – Rs. 100/- per student per year will be charged as insurance premium for risk cover of Rs. 71000/- per student (Auth -STV (TE) HF (4) 33/04-Misc-31340 dated 13-7-2012 (General Branch) & LIC letter dated 01-01-2013).
15. In case any student being aggrieved by any decision consistent with the provisions of the prospectus or otherwise aggrieved by the decision of the Principal, he may file an appeal to the Director Technical Education within 07 days from cause of action and to the Secretary (Technical Education) within 30 days. Beyond a period of 30 days the decision shall be said to have become final.
16. The counseling fee shall be deposited centrally (Govt. Polytechnics only) in an account to be created in the name of Chairman Admission Committee. After final round of admission the same will be transferred to the institution concerned as per admission list submitted by them. The counseling fee shall be adjusted by the Govt. Polytechnics against Institutional Security Rs. 1000/-, Institute Development Fund Rs.1000/- and Computer fee Rs.500/- and shall not be charged by the respective institution during admission.
17. The Unique Identification Number /Aadhaar Number shall be mandatory to be provided by students of Institute for availing of various facilities of the Govt. The Principal of the Institute shall ensure to maintain/update the status of Aadhaar Numbers in respect of all the students studying in the institution.
18. IMPORTANT —Ragging, inside / outside the institution, is an offence. As per the Himachal Pradesh Educational Institutions (Prohibition of Ragging) Act, 2009, every offence under this Act shall be cognizable, non-bailable and compoundable with the permission of Court. If any student is found indulged in ragging activities directly / indirectly, strict action will be taken against him/her as per law.
19. The Govt. has launched Skill Development Allowance Scheme-2013 and the same is applicable to the students admitted in diploma courses. The students eligible as per the scheme can avail of this facility after depositing the necessary copies of documents to the Principal of the concerned institute.
20. The candidate admitted shall submit the attested copies of the following documents to the Principal of concerned Polytechnic.

- Bank Account No., Name of Bank, Branch & IFSC Code
