Mr. Aaron Bernstein – Grade 6 Intervention Specialist

Mr. Barry Pash - Maintenance
Mrs. Jennifer Ragusa – Grades 7/8 Intervention Specialist

Safety
Please remember that parents must drop their child off in the curb lane only. This will keep all children safe in the mornings. In the afternoon, drivers must park away from the building, so that that children can safely cross to the parking lot. We unload and load bus riders first. Students who ride a bus are always on time even if the bus is late. School starts at 7:37 p.m. and ends at 2:42 for bus riders. All students for pick up will be dismissed after the buses get to the high school
School Picture Day
Students will be taking their school pictures in the morning of September 21, 2011. They will have a pre-paid envelope if they are purchasing a picture. All students will take pictures so that they can have their picture in our yearbook. Picture re-take day will be November 10, 2011.
Camp We
Our Grade 6 students will have a unique opportunity to sleep over at school on Thursday September 22, 2011. We will have a two day camp that will combine technology, team building and nature. The camp is a long tradition of uniting our Grade 6 students coming together from various different buildings. Grade 6 students will report to school on September 22 between 8:00 and 8:30 A.M. and will stay until Friday September 23, 2011 at 5:15 P.M. The cost includes 2 meals, supplies, bus transportation. More information is available at the web site. Look under the parent tab for forms. You can find a camp permission slip and list of supplies.
Calculators
The calculator is a required tool on all state and national tests now. We purchase the TI 34 for classroom teachers and their smart boards have this calculator on the board. We take orders and are able to save parents a few bucks through volume pricing. Current Grade 7/8 students should already have one. The order form is at the web site under forms and more information is available through your child’s math teacher
