Callin' out around the world,
Are you ready for a brand new beat!
Summer's here and the time is right
For dancing in the street
They're dancing in Chicago down in New Orleans

In New York City
All we need is music, sweet music
There'll be music everywhere
There'll be swingin' and swayin' and records playing and
Dancing in the street
Oh it doesn't matter what you wear
Just as long as you are there
I want ev'ry guy to grab a girl
Ev'rywhere around the world
They'll be dancing, dancing in the street
It's an invitation across the nation
A chance for folks to meet
There'll be laughing, and singing, and music swinging
and Dancing in the street
Philadelphia, PA baltimore and D.C. now
Can't forget the Motor City,in New York town

Philadelphia, PA baltimore and D.C. now
All we need is music, sweet music
There'll be music everywhere
There'll be swingin' and and swayin', and records playing
and dancing in the street
Oh it doesn't matter what you wear
Just as long as you are there
I want to ev'ry guy grab a girl
Ev'rywhere around the world
Ther'll be dancing, dancing in the street
Dancing in the street, dancing in the street

Ther'll be dancing, dancing in the street
Dancing in the street, dancing in the street!

RAPUNZEL: You’d better be!

Track 4:Song 2: HELP!

Help, I need somebody,

Help, not just anybody,

Help, you know I need someone, help.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,

I never needed anybody's help in any way.

But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,

Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Chorus:

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down

And I do appreciate you being round.

Help me, get my feet back on the ground,

Won't you please, please help me.

And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,

My independence seems to vanish in the haze.

But every now and then I feel so insecure,

I know that I just need you like I've never done before.

CHORUS

When I was younger, so much younger than today,

I never needed anybody's help in any way.

But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,

Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

CHORUS

GIANT: Ha! Ha! Ha!

Track 6Song 3: Holding out for a hero

RAPUNZEL

Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and dream, of what I need
PRINCE
She needs a hero
She’s holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
She needs a hero
She’s holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
RAPUNZEL
Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder end rising with the heat
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet
[Chorus – Prince]

RAPUNZEL
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there's someone somewhere
Watching me
Through the wind end the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach
Like the fire in my blood
ALL

I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life

Track 9 Song 4: All my loving

Close your eyes and I'll kiss you,

Tomorrow I'll miss you;

Remember I'll always be true.

And then while I'm away,

I'll write home every day,

And I'll send all my loving to you.

I'll pretend That I'm kissing

The lips I am missing

And hope that my dreams will come true.

And then while I'm away,

I'll write home every day,

And I'll send all my loving to you.

All my loving I will send to you.

All my loving, darling I'll be true.

PRINCE CHARMING: I’ve got one thing to say to you witch.

WITCH: And what’s that now sweet-pumpkin pie?

PRINCE CHARMING: I hate you! Now, Rapunzel (Prince kneels)

WITCH: Well, I suppose you are better at scaring than me.

(EXIT Witch and Giant hand in hand. ENTER Rat and Mouse)

RAT: Huh. Happily ever after. If only!

MOUSE: Your spoiling it, rat. Stop it!

RAT: Ok, ok! (EXIT Mouse and Rat.)

Track 10 Song 5: Without you (Curtain Call)

No I can't forget this evening
Or your face as you
were leaving
But I guess that's just the way
The story goes
You always smile
but in your eyes
Your sorrow shows
Yes it shows.
No I can't forget tomorrow
When I think of all my sorrow
When I had you there
But then I let you go
And now it's only fair
That I should let you know
What you should know.
I can't live
If living is without you
I can't live
I can't give anymore
I can't live
If living is without you
I can't give
I can't give anymore.

(Song ends when turning into Calvin Harris’: The Girls)

(Enter All, bow)
