EIC Pistol Leg and Distinguished Revolver Match

Match Description: Conventional NRA 2700 Match with an EIC and a DR leg match to follow . A separate .22 Caliber Only 2700 Match will be held concurrently with the State Pistol Championship with shooters from both matches firing shoulder-to-shoulder.

Range: 50 yard slow fire; 25 yard timed & rapid fire. 40 covered outdoor firing points.

Directions to the Range: From points south: Rt. 93 North to exit 2. Make a right at the exit light. (*) Make a right at next light (South Policy). Make a right at next light (Lowell Rd). Follow for approx 3 miles. Make a right onto Hobbs Rd (you will see signs for Pelham Fish and Game). Make next right onto Simpson Mill Rd. PFG is about ½ mile on the right. Pistol range is located to left and rear of the main clubhouse. From Points North: Rt. 93 South to exit 2. Make a right at end of exit ramp. Follow the same directions as above from (*) point.

Eligibility: State match and/or Junior Champions must be residents of NH and a member of GO-NH. OPEN CHAMPION and individual class winners are open to all competitors. NRA membership is not required. GO-NH membership is required for Resident Champion only. Membership forms may be obtained at the Stat Office. The matches are registered by the National Rifle Association, the GO-NH Inc. Shooting Sports Program Committee, and the CMP.

Registration and Fees:

·  2700 Fees: A package entry fee of $50.00 includes NRA registration fee ($5.50) and all individual and aggregate matches for either the State Championship or the .22 Caliber Only 2700. A package fee for two guns or two .22 Only 900s is $40, and the fee is $30 for one gun or a single .22 Only 900. (This includes lunch.)

·  EIC Match Fee: $10.

·  DR Match Fee: There is no separate fee for this match. NRA rules, however, require DR competitors to participate in the NH State Championship Match.

Cash or checks, made payable to “ALAN CADY”, will be accepted at the Match.

Food: Water is provided at no charge. Lunch is included in the match fees.

Start Time: Saturday, September 3: Relay 1: 9:00 a.m. EIC and DR matches will be conducted at the conclusion of the 2700s .

Rules: Current NRA and CMP Rules will govern as appropriate. Competitors are required to be familiar with the contents of the current rule books. An Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) is required in all NRA sanctioned pistol competitions to indicate that the slide is open and the chamber is empty.

Classification: Competitors must show a valid current outdoor classification or score record book. All unclassified competitors will compete in the Master Class.

Firearms: 22 caliber, center fire and .45 caliber as per NRA Rules for Conventional Pistol. Triggers may be weighed, and will be weighed, if National Records are broken. CMP rules will apply for the Service Pistol portion of the match. See EIC rules for more information. NRA rules will apply to the Distinguished Revolver match. See NRA rules for more information.

Scoring: Competitors will pass score cards to the right and score the competitor to the left, unless otherwise directed. Plugs and gauges will be used ONLY by designated range personnel. Competitors are responsible for repairing their own targets. Bring your own stapler, repair pasties/tape and small clipboard. A 3-man jury will be selected, if there is a challenge. A $3.00 challenge fee will be paid for each challenge and refunded, if the challenge is won.

Targets: All slow fire will be on NRA B-6 50-yard slow fire targets. All timed and rapid fire will be on NRA B-8 25-yard targets. Targets and repair centers will be provided.

Award Schedule: Open winner, second and third place for each match. First in each class, if at least five present and shooting. Second, if ten. Third, if fifteen, Fourth, if twenty, etc. Junior, Civilian and Service (including National Guard and Reserve) categories. Additional categories, if a sufficient number of competitors (5) present and shooting. Awards will be in cash with separate award pools for the State Matches and .22 Caliber Only Matches.

The Distinguished Revolver (DR) and the CMP EIC (‘leg”) matches will be held each day after the conclusion of the State Pistol Match and the .22 Caliber Only 2700 Match. These matches may be conducted concurrently or sequentially at the Match Director’s discretion.

NOTES: Distinguished Revolver Match

1.  The revolver must be a factory manufactured revolver with NO external modifications, capable of chambering and firing a 158 grain lead round nose (LRN) or semi-wadcutter (SWC) .38 Special cartridge.

2.  Triggers must have single and double action capability and be capable of lifting 2 ½ pounds when the revolver is cocked for single action firing.

3.  Barrels cannot exceed 6 ½ inches and adjustable front sights are prohibited.

4.  Stocks may be modified or changed, but must be mirror images of each other.

5.  All competitors should check in no later than 30 minutes prior to the start time. Pelham Fish and Game reserves the right to reschedule any competitor arriving after that time to make room for post entries present at the range. Post entries will be accepted to the range capacity for any relay, but only if such rescheduling does not delay the start of the next relay.

6.  Any shooter under the age of 18 must have a parent in attendance, or a notarized parental permission letter before they are allowed to shoot. The Match Director will have the final decision.

7.  Match will be a 30 shot match: 10 shots slow fire, 10 shots timed fire and 10 shots rapid fire.

NOTES: ElC Service Pistol & .22 Rimfire Pistol Match

1. In accordance with the current edition of the CMP Service Rulebook, all Service Pistol EIC Matches and CMP .22 Rimfire EIC Pistol Matches will be governed by CMP rules. “Service Pistol” and “.22 Rimfire Pistol” are defined in the current edition of the CMP Service Rulebook (see Rule 6.3, Table 3, or Rule 6.4).

2. Shooters must supply their own "Leg Match" Ammunition. Ammunition must be any safe, metal-jacketed bullet allowed by CMP (non-jacketed, wad-cutter or lead bullets may not be used) for the EIC Service Pistol Match and any .22 caliber rimfire long rifle ammunition, with bullets weighing not more than 40 grains, for the .22 Rimfire Pistol Match. All ammo will be inspected before the shooters are allowed on the firing line. The Match Referee will have the final decision. All triggers will be weighed.

3. If the NRA or CMP changes sanctioning fees for match, Pelham Fish and Game reserves the right to change the match fees by the same amount.

4. Please note that the above schedule is in the order for the match.

8. To receive EIC credit points, the score fired by the competitor must fulfill the requirements of Rule 9.2.6 (top 10%) and equal or exceed the EIC Minimum Credit Score (MCS) for that discipline (see CMP Rule 9.2.7). All points are issued by the CMP. MCS scores for 2015 are:
