Worksmust dropped into the Old School Arts Centre by 12 noon on Monday 6th April. All work not sold must be collectedby 4pm on Monday 27April.

Terms and Conditions

No registrations will be accepted after 4pm March25, 2009.

  • All works must be original, signed and dated by you and well presented to a reasonable professional standard for hanging or display.All work must be for sale.Artists must be from the Raglan area (this side of the Diviation).All work must not have previously been exhibited in Raglan.
  • Each piece to be clearly labelled on the back or underside with your name, title of the piece and price. Each piece is to be wrapped separately in a re-usable bubble wrap sleeve which also has these details on it.
  • The Old School Arts Centre assistants and volunteers will take all care with works delivered but the work is entered into the exhibition at the artists own risk.
  • Fashion entrants must provide their own stands, mannequins etc.
  • Works may be collected by the purchaser at time of purchase or within ten days of the close of the festival.
  • At least one work by every artist will be displayed. If you are entering multiple works the constraints of space may mean that not all your works are displayed.
  • The decision of the Old School Arts Centre is the final decision and the artist will comply with any decisions made by the Old School Arts Centre.
  • The artist will have indicated that they are happy to take commissions if applicable.
  • The prices of any works in the exhibition are fixed and cannot be negotiated.
  • If a purchaser wishes to have a piece posted or couriered , this will be arranged with the Old School Arts Centre at the purchasers expense.
  • The exhibitors agree to act in the best interests of the Exhibition and other members of the exhibition, their works and the venues at all times.
  • The exhibitor agrees to arrange insurance cover of their own works if they require it.
  • The exhibitor agrees to pay the fee (of which there is no refund after the 25th of March) 2009,whether the artist exhibits or not.
  • The artist agrees to pay 25% commission which will be deducted from the sale price – proceeds will help fund next year’s festival and go towards building the Arts Scholarship for one RaglanAreaSchool student.
  • The artist agrees that any artworks exhibited at the Festival of Arts that are sold within two weeks of the close of the festival will still incur 25% commission which will be payable to the Raglan Community Arts Council within 14 days of the transaction.
  • Artists will be paid for sales within 14 days of the exhibition.
