Quick Quote Guide
Background
Three OECM Dental Supplies master agreements, with the suppliers noted below, resulted from an open, fair, competitive and transparent procurement process aligned with the Ontario Broader Public Sector (“BPS”) Procurement Directive.The terms and conditions of the OECM Master Agreement(2015-232) govern this quick quote (“QQ”).

Why use a Quick Quote:
Review and assess which of our Dental Suppliesagreementsbest meet your needs. Based on your requirements, you can purchase the dental supplies directly from one or bothof the suppliers using the rates set out in the master agreement or issue a QQ to one or both suppliers to obtain pricing based on your specific requirements (cartridges not found in the price list) which may include but not be limited to:
•Customized services
•Reduced rates
•Specific rates for cartridges not found in the price list
Should you decide to use a QQ process, the number of suppliers invited to respond to a QQ should be dependent on the anticipated value. Your procurement policies will dictate the dollar thresholds based on your organizations approval authority. The following table provides an example (please refine to align with your own internal approval levels and policies) of the minimum number of suppliers you may wish to invite.

The supplier’s response is provided for evaluation purpose only and is not legally binding; the QQ process does not create a Contract A / Contract B situation.
Evaluation of a Quick Quote:
The QQ should outline the evaluation criteria and how the responses will be assessed. For example, the evaluation criteria may be:
- Lowest price;
- Proposed solution aligned with your needs;
- Deliverydates and timelines; and/or
- Product availability.
Filling out the Quick Quote Template:
Complete the QQ, or ask OECM to do so on your behalf:
- Fill out the fields under Customer Details and Customer Requirements.
- Email the QQ to the suppliers.
The usage of the QQ is for evaluation and assessment of the supplier offering, customers are not obligated to any subsequent purchases; using a QQ does not create a Contract A/Contract B situation.
Customers are not obligated to award any business as a result of a response to the quick quote.
