Questions and Answers: St. Rita Trivia 2008

First, every table will be named for an NFL football team of you choice (will explain more in a minute), which requires advanced reservations and payment. Your table is secured with a post-dated check for February 2, 2008, made payable to St. Rita’s Holy Name and mailed to me, Bonny Giovanni, 27 E. Sherwood Drive, St. Louis, MO 63114.

Then, the night of the event, the room is decorated for a Super Bowl party, but the questions are that of a regular trivia game, not just football. In order to keep everyone in the game all evening, all ten rounds will consist of ten various topics. Your table will be decorated with the colors and identifications marker of your team, which was decided when you made your reservation.

Reservations can be made by calling me at 314-427-8805 and finding out which teams are still available. Then, if your check arrives before someone else who has asked for the same team, then you will have WON the right to be that team. If not, then you have to go to your second or third choice. Team selection is based on who pays for the table first, which is why some people who are die-hard fans of certain teams, paid for their favorite table in December!

Now, the night of the game, IF YOU WISH…get your teammates into the spirit of going to the Super Bowl game…or a Super Bowl party! Dress in your team colors (which I can give you), wear your team outfits, and come to win a prize, for best costume and spirit award. However, if you don’t want to participate in this aspect of the evening, this is your choice and a table can be assigned to you. Either way, your table must be paid for prior to the evening by mailing your post-dated check. I will then assign you a team name, which makes for a smooth entrance on the night of the event. You and your teammates just walk in the door and sit at your table.

SILENT AUCTION

We are also planning a wonderful Silent Auction with fantastic baskets and donations from some of the areas finest grocery, restaurant, sports and entertainment venues. We couldn’t be more proud of the way the community has offered to help St. Rita’s Fund Raisings efforts.
