Answer: For a Male minimum Height 170cms and for Female minimum Height155cms, no weight restriction.

Question: What is educational level require to apply as Security Guard?

Answer:Minimum requirement is High School Leaving Certificate. (Grade 12)/degree holder, Good Communication (English/Arabic - reading & writing)

Question:What is the work experience requirement to apply Security Guard?

Answer:Minimum 2 years’ experience in security industry/military/police

Question : Who will be responsible for processing visa application?

Answer: The Securitas will organize the employment visa

Question: Where I will be residence after joining Securitas?

Answer: Securitas will provide you furnished accommodation depending upon the size of the room, it will be shared by a maximum of 4 to 6 officers as per the UAE law with Gym and TV Lunch facilities

Wages and Working Hours.

Question: What do I get paid when working as a Security Officer?

Answer: You are paid Monthly wages as per local Law depending on your working site. (Dubai / Abu Dhabi / Northern Emirates)

Question: When do I get paid?

Answer:You are paid per month – normally on the 7th of each month.

Question: Do I get paid during the basic recruit Training?

Answer: Yes, Under UAE Law, You are paid 1/3 of thebase minimum wage for each day until deployment.

Question: What are the standard working hours working as a Security Officer?

Answer: The Standard working hours are 12 hours per day , 06 days per week.(Onsite 12 hours a day. 11 working hours paid and 1 hour break time unpaid.) , Extra pay for public holidays and Ramadan will apply as per UAE labour law

Security Training:

Question: Do I need to have basic Security Orientation Training in order to work at Securitas?

Answer:Yes, You do. All new recruits have attend basic Security Orientation Training.

Question: Can I attend work without receiving Training?

No , All new recruits have to undergo Training at Dubai Police Academy or Private Security Business Department depending on work site.

Question: Can I work before I receive my DPS / PSBD License?

Answer: You are not entitle to work until you receive DPS / PSBD License.

Question: How long will it take to get Security Guard’s DPS / PSBD License?

Answer: DPS License: you can get immediate after joining.

PSBD License: it is 45 days process to obtain the license after joining Securitas.
