SUNDAY, JUNE 24

Depart Eden High Schoolearly this morning for Quebec City. Meal/rest stops will be coordinated between the teachers and the driver. Upon arrival, your Quebecois escort will greet you and assist with check in at your hotel. After DINNER, you'll takea ferry ride across the St Lawrence River to Levis. En route you’ll enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of Quebec City high atop the cliffs!

MONDAY, JUNE 25

BREAKFAST.This morning you will begin your sightseeing with a guided tour of Old and New Quebec, including Place Royale and the Quartier Champlain, the site where the town was settled originally in 1608; and the Plains of Abraham, a 235-acre stretch of greenery where the English General Wolfe did battle with the French general, the Marquis de Montcalm. At midday you’ll depart for Village des Sports. Here you’ll have the entire afternoon to enjoy the 23 exciting water slides, The Magic Lake, The Tropical River, and L’Everest, the tallest water slide in the world – 110 feet! Return to your hotel later this afternoon to change for DINNER, followed by an “improv comedy night” where you’ll learn some interesting facts about Quebec City – all through improvisational skits!

TUESDAY, JUNE 26

This morning begin your sightseeing with a trip to the Beaupre Coast, where Quebec’s original settlers from France arrived. BREAKFAST this morning at Chez Marie, where you’ll enjoy Marie’s famous home-baked bread with maple butter. Continue sightseeing with a stop at the shrine of Ste. Anne de Beaupre, and at the Canyon Ste-Anne, where the river cascades over seven levels before emptying into the St. Lawrence. En route back to Quebec City, you’ll visit the Copper Shop for a presentation on carving copper, and you’ll also stop at Montmorency Falls, one and a half times the height of Niagara! Time included to cross the bridge and walk down the steps from the crest of the falls to where the river flows into the St. Lawrence! Return to Quebec City early this afternoon for some shopping time, and then early this evening depart for a nearby sugar shack for a traditional Quebecois DINNER plus entertainment. You can learn to play the spoons!

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27

BREAKFAST,After check out from the hotel, your group will participate in a workshop entitled Soldier of the Martello Tower, where, accompanied by British officers, you will learn all about the living conditions of the 19th century soldiers as they were billeted in one of the Martello Towers. Depart at midday for Eden. Meal/rest stops will be coordinated between your teacher and the driver. Late evening arrival back at the school.

FEE INCLUDES: Round trip chartered motorcoach transportation from your school to Quebec and return; accommodations for three nights atthe Delta Quebec, with participants in rooms of four and four chaperones in two twins; three full American breakfasts; three dinners; sightseeing as listed including required admissions; services of Quebecois guide throughout; all hotel/restaurants taxes and gratuities; night security guard for six hours per night at the hotel.
