Introduction

In this part of WeldEye, you can add welders’ certificates in to the database and search for the added certificates. Please note that data inserted in the Personnel part of WeldEye are linked to welders’certificates.

In this part of WeldEye you are also able to use the Prolongation tool to search for references that can be used for 6-month updates and 2-year prolongations.

When using WeldEye to administrate personnel’s test certificates, you are required to register the personnel before adding the welders test certificates. See Chapter Personnel.

This part, Qualifications, is divided in:

If you insert 1.3 in the search field for Parent metal group, and at the same time choose Test piece from the drop down menu 1, WeldEye will find all the certificates which is welded on Parent metal group 1.3.

In a certificate it is only one field for Material group. (For example 1.3)

In the column for Range of qualification for Material group it is more than one value.

To search for information in a field which has several values, you can make use of the Wild card. A Wild card is for example the % sign. It works like this:

- If you insert 1.3 in the search field for Parent metal group, all the certificates containing material group which starts with 1.3 will show up in the Certificate survey.

- If you insert %1.3 in the search field for Parent metal group, all the certificates containing material group which ends with 1.3 will show up in the Certificate survey.
