2017 Mid-Maryland Dairy Vet Scholarship

A five hundred-dollar ($500) scholarship will be awarded to a MarylandYouth by Mid-Maryland Dairy Vets. Applicants must be majoring in dairy science, animal science or pre-veterinary medicineand must have an interest and commitment to Veterinary Medicine. The scholarship is made available by the Mid-Maryland Dairy Vets in Hagerstown, Maryland, which consists of a team of seven veterinarians specializing in dairy herd health and embryo transfer

Qualifications and Stipulations:

1. One (1) $500.00 Scholarship will be awarded.

2. Applicant must be currently majoring in dairy science, animal science or pre-veterinarymedicine at a two-year or four-year year college.

4. Proof of enrollment and official academic transcript from college attending must be attached.

5. Current wallet size head shotphoto must be included with application

6. Application must be typed using one inch margins, a minimum of twelve-pointfont and should not exceed the space allotted on application form.

7. Recipients of the Mid-Maryland Dairy Vet Scholarship will be announced at theMaryland Dairy Convention on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. We encourage applicants to attend the banquet.

8. Previous winners are not eligible to win.
