SECTION 10 OF 10 - Declaration /
Terms & Conditions
You will need to read and agree to the following Terms for this grant, should you be successful:
TMLDirect We agree to support the Apprentice with at least the minimum Apprentice wage in their first year.
TMLDirect We endeavour to pay the minimum wage by Year 2 of the Apprenticeship.
TMLDirect We endeavour to pay the Living wage by Year 3 of the Apprenticeship.
TMLDirect We will outline the training plan for the candidate by 4 weeks after receiving QEST funding and note any milestones or accreditations to be achieved.
TMLDirect We will submit a 6 month report to QEST and the HCA from the time of the grant detailing which milestones have been achieved and an annual report thereafter.
TMLDirect Our Apprentice will also submit a report to QEST and the HCA 6 months after the grant has been awarded and annually thereafter.
TMLDirect We will agree to the pictures and images provided here being used by QEST and the HCA.
TMLDirect We will gladly cooperate, as much as we are able, with QEST and HCA publicity requests.
TMLDirect We acknowledge that our QEST/HCA Apprenticeship grant can be withdrawn at any point should the above Terms & Conditions not be adhered to.

Please note:

·  The deadline for applications is 3rd August 2017.

·  The HCA Administrator works part-time. A response may not be immediate but you will receive an email confirming we have received the application.

·  After the application deadline passes, marking of the applications commences. There are two assessment stages before the interview. Those who are invited to interview must attend with their Apprentice as a partnership. This interview will take place in late October 2017 with QEST Trustees and Skills Advisors.

·  A certificate to the winner will be presented in the “Celebration of Excellence” section of the HCA’s Annual Conference in London in Spring 2018 (date to be confirmed), which the successful applicant is expected to attend.

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) makes awards to craftspeople to help them further their careers. Since 1991 the Trust has awarded £2.4 million to 339 craftspeople for study, training and work experience. QEST is the charitable arm of the Royal Warrant Holders Association, and was established in 1990 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Association and the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
