Q Loft Auckland Fringe & Auckland Pride Festival Package 2015
Q is excited to welcome backAuckland Fringe Festivaland the annualAucklandPride Festivalto kick off 2015 with the freshest, most outrageous, beyond-experimental and ridiculously brilliant line-up of music, theatre, comedy and dance. We've put together a sweet venue package for all madcats game to join the festive shenanigans. As a special Fringe/Auckland PrideFestival package we’re offering a 50% saving on what it would normally cost to hire Q Loft, and we take out the guesswork of budgeting for labour and basic tech requirements.
A 5 performance season = $2200 including GST.
This includes10hours worth of tech and rehearsal time before opening night, lighting rig, PA, sound and lighting desk and inclusion in a Q Fringe brochure.
But remember to factor in ticketing charges (see page 3)
To cover your costs at Q we estimate you’ll need to sell 26 tickets a night at an average ticket price of $20incl GST.
As you are sharing the space with another show, the timetable has been worked out in advance by Q. It’s fast, and furious!
Before applying for a Fringe/Auckland PrideFestival season, we strongly suggest you make a time to chat with us to discuss your particular show requirements.
Things to consider
We are programming two shows on one night in Loft. All shows must be able to be set up on a performance day in 30 minutes and cleared in 30 minutes and have a running time of no more than 60 minutes. Don’t despair! If your show doesn’t fit within this structure, we may still be able to programme the show but it may affect the cost.
A $200 non-refundable venue hire deposit is due on 30 October 2014.
What we’re looking for
Theatre, Dance, Music, Comedy, Multimedia, Strange Event or any combination of these.
We want you to jumpstart our imagination, to celebrate the extraordinary and experiment with innovative concepts and execution. The programme will be selected by a panel of Q staff.
