A: Calling Multiple Phones

Q: What is the practical use of barge when there are not very many shared lines....

A: Couple of scenarios: Assistant-manager situations and agent-like functionality.

Q: What is Barging again?

A: Ability to join an existing call over a shared line. It is used typically in cases you are required in the call to assist someone (e.g. imagine a lawyer assisting a paralegal with a customer who has a complex question).

Q: ThinkTel - is that in Canadian $?

A: Yes

Q: If a US based company with Spark Calling using Intelipeer or Tata and they want to add one new location in Canada, does that Canada location have to use ThinkTel so there are now two providers?

A: Currently Spark supports only domestic numbers in an org (all numbers in an org needs to belong to same country and same providers). We will expand this functionality later this year.

Q: Is there an update on bring-your-own-SIP-trunks with Spark Call? Availability timeline?

A: I can share we are working hard to integrate Spark Call with CUCM based systems for internal dialing and reusing PSTN. That's our top priority right now. You will hear about it in coming sessions.

Q: Is there a view timeframe to when all UC licenses eg CUWL\UCL will only be available through an annuity basis and no one off licenses.

A: No timeframe. We have the largest base of customers using perpetual (with CUCM based systems) as well as with subscriptions (with WebEx and now with Spark). These modalities will coexist. Spark FLEX gives you the all-via-subscription option.

Q: Please clarify: Is Spark Flex an ELA, unto itself or a potential suite/module that can be sold as part of an ELA 2.0?

A: Spark Flex Plan is part of the EA and can stand on it's own or as part of a ELA.

Q: Can a customer opt to not allow additional concurrent meetings? For example, cap the number of concurrent meetings at a max of one?

A: Yes there is no cap on meetings. Overage will create a true forward event.

A: Yes

A: No, there is no way to reserve the shared meeting license. Any registered user can use the meeting.

Q: Does the shared meeting model, requires each user must have a paid Spark or WebEx account?

A: No, they buy a meeting license and can register up to 250 users per meeting license purchased.

Q: But what if a customer WANTS to put a cap on concurrent meetings?

A: There is no way to cap the meetings.

Q: Just to make it very granular and basic, with Shared Meetings, 25 Employees can host concurrent meetings with up to 250 attendees?

A: With each meeting license purchased 250 users can host a meeting with 200 attendees

A: 1 Shared Meeting subscription enables a pool of users (up to 250 users) to host 1 concurrent meeting at a time with 200 attendees.

A: A customer can only purchase up to 25 Shared Meetings subscriptions, enabling up to 25 concurrent meetings at a time.
