Job Title: Disability Football Development Officer

Salary: £16,000 - £18,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Purpose of role:
To implement Bolton Wanderers Community Trust’s new three year disability football project funded by Wembley National Stadium Trust in line with predefined outcomes, outputs and aims. The project will involve the setting up and delivering of taster and satellite sessions in and around Bolton SEN schools whilst establishing links and pathways for the participants to continue to participate in football and increasing disability football participation.
To develop and grow Bolton Wanderers Disability Football Club. Running the existing disability open age and junior teams whilst developing new teams in line with identified local needs.
Main duties and responsibilities:
·  To be an ambassador of BWCT by supporting us in narrowing the gap of disadvantage within Bolton by working at the heart of the community with the community at its heart; offering excellent customer service at all times and upholding the professional image of BWFC and BWCT.
·  To further-develop and deliver at Bolton Wanderers Disability Football Club ensuring appropriate monitoring and evaluation is carried out, sessions are of a high quality, the open age teams are successful in the Ability Counts league and that the club membership and sessions grow.
·  To oversee the planning, implementation, development and delivery of the brand new three year Disability Football project in line with pre-defined outcomes, working with disabled children and young people. To be the main point of contact for the Football League and Wembley National Stadium Trust for the project.
·  To ensure all participant data is logged into our monitoring and evaluation system ‘Substance Views’ in relation to any associated projects/programmes.
·  To represent Bolton Wanderers Community Trust at relevant activities/events and to develop networks with other agencies, schools and community groups involved in disability sport work in Bolton and surrounding boroughs.
·  To enable as many children and young people the opportunity to take part in the programme and deliver high quality football sessions that are inclusive to all abilities and disabilities.
·  To effectively engage with disabled children and young people at sessions, whilst acting as a role model and a blue-print for best practice.
·  To perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of BWCT.
