January 22, 2017

Puyallup Community Baptist Church invited us to be part of their celebration of Sanctity of Human Life by having our brochures and information on a table in the sanctuary Jan. 22, 2017. We afterwards got to talk to a few people and had our first board meeting of the year.

It was decided at the meeting Washington Alliance for Life was noted that we will have a table at Our Savior Lutheran Church Feb. 12, located at Ford Junior High for both services at 9AM and 10:45
AM. This is a great opportunity to let the members know of opportunities they have to help with the upcoming street fairs and fairs. Our Savior Lutheran has supported our ministry for several years and this has been a blessing to keep our Pro-life ministry going in Pierce County. We look forward to being a part of their missions Sunday.

Sometime in May we will have a homeless event at the WWS Fair. The date still to be determined by PC Homeless Connect. Last year there was not the crowds of homeless people. We will have a brochure listing some of the resources where homeless people can get help.

Meeker Days will be June 17,18 and 19. We will need quite a few people to do the tent booth at Meeker Days. If you would like to help, the shifts are 4 hours long and each volunteer will have a helper. This a good event and we see thousands of people looking at the Touch of Life baby models. We will give out 3 baby baskets and one senior basket will be raffled free. We also will need a lot of donated Bibles to hand out. If you are able to donate a Bible or your church would like to give us Bibles to hand out, please contact us through the number below or on the Wash4life.com website.

Pierce County Fair is August 10,11, 12, 13. This is a great time to see a country fair and share LIFE with the families that come to this event. If you are able to help and do a shift you will get a free ticket and free parking for the fair in Graham, WA.

WWS Fair is in Sept., we will participate and there will be free fair tickets and parking for volunteers. Last year we had 7 days to share the Pro-life message. We hope we have the same amount of time or more time this year to have free resources for young women and families and seniors.

If you would like to be part of our ministry as someone to help schedule the events, meet with colleges and high school counselors, or help with a fundraiser, please contact us. We could use more help to do the events that need to be done in Pierce County. If you would like to start a Washington Alliance for Life in South King County or King County, or Thurston county. I would like to talk with you about doing this also. We can only do Pierce County but there are other counties it would be nice to see with our ministry. We can do this with your help.

God loved us first. Share God’s love with someone this year. Love God and love people and live like Jesus. Rev. 3:20 “ Here I am I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come to him and dine with him and he with me.” Share Jesus’s love and the message of salvation with someone this year. Remember He loves us first.

Pray for a pro-life Supreme Court judge. Pray for us to help young women and families in Peirce County in 2017.
