The above dog is believed to be in good health having been vet checked on 26th August 2010 & 24th September 2010, but I strongly advise you to take it to your veterinary surgeon, to be given a general health examination with FIVE days of purchase. This check and any other tests or examinations associated with it must be at your own expense. If your vet finds any problem, which, in his opinion renders the dog unfit for sale, I will take back the dog and refund the purchase price in full, on condition that the dog is returned immediately, and is on the same state of health as it was sold. If we the breeder, are unhappy with the condition of the dog on its return, we will have it examined by our vet, at our expense, before any monies are returned.
I/We the undersigned have been informed by the breeder regarding any genetic or partly genetic disease that this breed may be affected by, i.e. – hip dysplasia. I/we are aware that there is no guarantee that the dog will be free from disease, genetic or otherwise, to which it may be prone. I/we accept that if such a disease develops later in life, after a satisfactory examination by a veterinary surgeon as stated above, the breeder will not be held responsible.
I/we declare that it is our intention to keep and care for the dog for the whole of its life. If circumstances change to the extent that it unfortunately ever becomes necessary for him/her to be re-homed, I/we will offer the breeder first refusal to take care of the
re-homing, that may be required for this dog.
The breeder has supplied me/us with a puppy pack containing a signed Pedigree with all hip scores relating to the pedigree (if known) and a copy of the parents BVA/HS score forms. Also relevant information on owning and rearing a Labrador, plus feeding and worming charts. I/We also confirm that the breeder has discussed the implications of the endorsements currently on the puppy KC registration and I/we understand these will not be lifted unless the breeder is happy the necessary health checks have been carried out.
The puppy is insured for four (4) weeks from the date of purchase (or eight weeks old). I/we will keep the puppy insured for at least the first eighteen (18) months of their life.
