S3 Personalisation and Choice The following students have yet to return their personalisation and choice form. Could they please hand it to the office no later than Friday 13th November? SHANARRI Wellbeing Game Competition The deadline for having your game created and presented is Friday 27th November. It does not have to be a computer game (it can be a board game) but must include the 8 wellbeing indicators. The winning game will be presented to the council on 3rd December and you have a very good chance of winning £100 :) If you would like to use B38 on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week, please turn up after 1.05pm.

Family Cheer Bingo Friday 13 November 2015, 7pm -10.30pm at Elgin City Football Club. All proceeds and donations will help fund competitions uniforms and equipment. Allstar and Stripes cheer and dance.

Moray Music Festival 2016 We are hoping to enter Elgin Academy teams in the Ceilidh Dancing section of the Festival in March. If you enjoy doing the Virginia Reel or Dashing White Sergeant, and would like to enter this fun competition, please see Mrs Chapman in The PE Department or Mrs Phillips in The SfL Department as soon as possible.

Charity Bake Sale in aid of “Cancer Research” and “Help for Heroes”. Megan Rees 2S, Grace Tointin 2S Sarah Dry 2R and Amy Condron 1I. The named girls are conducting a bake sale on Friday 13th November in the library from 1pm. Most cakes will be approximately 50p to £1, please bring extra money with you on Friday to buy these delicious goods. Thank You.

Zumba/Dance Charity Event Monday 9 November 2015 Thank you to everyone staff, amazing Y Dance students, Laura Peden Active School Co-ordinator, terrific technical wizardly from senior students, and of course most importantly sensational Zumba/Dance participants! For you enthusiasm and energy on the night making the night a great success! I really appreciated everyone’s efforts and huge contributions before, during and after the event. The money total presently is approximately £270. If anyone still wishes to make a donation please if this could be made by Monday 16th of November. S1 MidYis Testing – Friday 20th November 2015 This will take place on Friday 20th November 2015. Students in S1.1, 1.2, 1.3,should make their way to the assembly hall directly after registration. They should bring a blue or black pen, pencil and rubber. They will return to class during period 2.

Those students in S 1.4, 1.5 1.6, 1.7, should make their way to the Assembly Hall directly after interval. They should also bring a blue or black pen, pencil and rubber. They will return to class during period 4.

S1/S2 Cookery Club Cookery Club will run on Thursday 19th from 3.20pm - 4.20pm it will cost £1.00 and you must bring a container. you MUST sign up EVERYWEEKif you want to attend.

S5 Assembly - Planning for 2016-17 Timetable There will be an assembly onFriday13th November for all S5 students directlyduring registration. S5 Career ready students Could the career ready students please attend a short meeting with Mrs Bowley at 1.20 pm on Friday 13th November. You will receive information on master class no 2. Attendance is essential. (LB)

Attention all potential/interested medical applicants from S4/5 The University of Aberdeen Medical School in collaboration with NHS Grampian and Moray College are presenting a one day conference for all S4/5 students possibly interested in applying to medicine. The event will take place on 20th November from 10:00 – 14:30 at a venue (TBC) in Elgin. Any pupil who is interested in attending please give your name to your guidance teacher or Mrs Bowley no later than 18th November.

Senior (S4,5,6) Interhouse basketball will be held on Friday 13thNovember - Starting at 1.10pm and finishing 2.30. Entry forms are available at the PE department.
