HOUSE ASSEMBLIES - Registration

Monday 2 November – S6

ANNUAL POPPY APPEAL The S6 Fundraising Committee will be coming round all classes every day next week and until Wednesday 11th November with poppies. All donations welcome. (DT)

WARHAMMER CLUB From Monday 02.11.15 the club will run on Wednesdays and Fridays lunchtimes in room B43. (CY)

The Big Issues As of Monday 2 November, our school chaplains will be offering a service every Monday lunchtime where pupils can go along to speak about the big issues in the news and around the world or the issues ion your own life that you just need someone to talk to about. This will take place in room B01.

Table Tennis Any pupil interested in joining the table tennis club on Monday evenings from 1900 till 2030. Please sign up at the PE department.

Tempest Photographs - Reminder: The photographer will be in school Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November. Please check with your registration teacher your allocated time. Photographs will be taken in the Assembly Hall.

Library Books and DVDS Lists are issued today of pupils with overdue books and dvds. The lists are huge!Some of these resourcesare very late for return. Please return these asap tothe library or speak to Mrs Toonen.Holding on to these late resourcesmeans thatyou are unable to borrow books from the library and also means that no one else can. The library is open in the mornings before school, at lunchtimes and after school. And, there is alsoa box at the library door for returned items.Make sure your library is one that has books and dvds for all in school toborrow!

Zumba Charity Event Monday 9th of November 6.30-7.30pm Elgin Academy Assembly Hall

Come and participate in the Zumba charity event on Monday the 9th of November 6.30-7.30pm. It promises to be amazing fun with instruction from Laura Stewart, Y Dancers, and sensational Staff!! All money raised will be donated to the Archie Foundation and CliC Sargent. This promises to be a fantastic, entertaining evening while raising money for two very worthy causes. All you need is comfortable workout clothes, water and energy to dance for an hour!

Entry costs £4 Adult, £3 Students, with family group concessions. We hope to see you there!

Attention all netballers playing in the Scottish Schools Cup. You first two match dates have been set.

Thursday 19th November. Elgin Academy vs Gordonstoun away. Ready for play at Gordonstoun 4.30pm.

Tuesday 24th November Elgin Academy vs Thurso home. Ready for play at 3.45pm.

Please can all girls register for playing in the Scottish Cup (even if they can only attend some of the matches). Registration form will be held in the PE department.
