Police Notice The local council has been informed that groups of young people has been gathering at the old Spynie Hospital site, near the mortuary, and have been causing considerable damage. The police have been informed and will be keeping an eye on the site. The site itself is in a state of disrepair and is dangerous. Our very clear advice to you is to avoid congregating there, both for your own safety and the safety of others.

Early Closure – Friday 30th June 2017 Please note that Elgin Academy will close for the summer break at 2.30 pm on Friday. School transport has been arranged for this time. Happy holidays! (KJG)

Eco group

There will be no meeting this week for Eco group but we will meet first Tuesday back after summer to discuss plans for the environmental review and our proposed presentation to the Parent Teacher Association. We will be appointing leaders after the summer too. Thanks for your support with Empty Classroom day and Waste free picnic, have a fab holiday. (T Shaw)

S5/6 pupils – Career Workshop for Occupational Therapy ‘A day in the life of an Occupational Therapist’ work placement opportunity for anyone considering applying for an Occupational Therapy Degree course on 5th Sept. Applications must be completed online prior to Summer. Please see your guidance teacher for more information.
