IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SENIORS
SENIOR DAY – MONDAY, JUNE 15
1. You must be on time and in school until 11:00 a.m. (approx.) dismissal. If you are tardy to the auditorium homeroom, you will not be released early. If you are absent on Senior Day, you will not be allowed to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.
2. The normal school rules apply on Senior Day, including dress code. If you are dismissed from Senior Day for inappropriate behavior, conduct, dress, etc. you will not be permitted to attend the graduation ceremonies.
3. Homeroom will start at 8:00 a.m. and will be held in the auditorium. Breakfast will be available for seniors in the cafeteria beginning at 7:15 a.m. Seniors are expected to clean up their trash before moving to the auditorium.
4. Seniors who are scheduled to graduate but choose not to attend the ceremony should notify the Main Office.
5. The auditorium will have homeroom signs posted for seating purposes. Homeroom teachers will take attendance.
6. After a review of the day’s schedule and program in the auditorium, graduation rehearsal will be held in the old gym for staging purposes and moved to the new gym to simulate the ceremonies of Rutgers Athletic Center.
7. Caps and gowns will be distributed to those seniors who have paid in full. If you did not order/pay for a cap and gown, you must wait until 11:00 a.m. A representative from the company will be available. Extra tassels will also be sold.
8. If you owe a school fine, you must go to the Main Office after rehearsal to clear it in order to receive your cap and gown.
9. Non-grads are eligible to participate in Project Graduation.
ANY SENIOR WHO OWES DETENTION, HAS NOT PAID FOR A CAP AND GOWN, OR IS ON THE FINE LIST, WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PICK UP A CAP AND GOWN. ALL FINES AND OBLIGATIONS MUST BE MET. FINES AND DETENTIONS INCURRED AFTER JUNE 13 MUST BE CLEARED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN GRADUATION.
PROJECT GRADUATION: Bring bathing suit and towel.
