At Your Public Libraryis an initiative undertaken by Alzheimer's Australia NSW Library & Information Service to place dementia related books andmultimedia resourcesinto public libraries throughout New South Wales.
From 2003 until 2011 over 5000 books and multimedia resources, covering a range of topics relating todementia, have been placed in selected New South Wales public libraries. This projecthas beenmade possible with funding received from the Community Development Support Expenditure Schemethrough local clubs and community groups;funding from the Dementia and Community Memory Centres / Department of Health and Ageing; andfunding from the Remote Access Dementia Education Project / Department of Health and Ageing.
