v  Sometimes I have erections.

v  All grown men and big boys have erections and I get erections too.

v  When I have erections my penis grows big and points forward.

v  It's okay to have erections.

v  Sometimes I may have erections around others in public. I need to remember the rules about erections. I have to remember the that I can only release this at home in my bedroom with my door shut.

v  If I get an erection at school and I'm sitting at a desk or table, I can stay sitting until my erection goes down.

v  I don't want people to see my erection or see me touch my penis. All erections are private. All big boys and men have them but we don’t talk about them or point them out to others.

v  I don't tell people when I'm having an erection. An erection is a private matter. I don't talk about erections.

v  It's okay to touch and rub my penis when I'm alone in my bedroom or home with the door shut. It’s not ok to touch my penis when others are around.

v  Sometimes I may want to touch and rub my penis when I have an erection. If I am alone in my bedroom with the door shut at home, that is okay.

v  It is against the rules touch and rub my penis when I have an erection at school.

v  Sometimes when I have an erection, my penis may have an ejaculation. Then, semen will come out of my penis. This is okay. That’s what supposed to happen.

v  But, having an ejaculation can be messy. I need to put a tube sock on my penis to “catch” the semen. I will need to clean up the messy ejaculation. I can wipe my penis with the sock, toilet paper, a baby wipe or wash myself in my bathroom at home.

v  Sometime, I may have an ejaculation in bed when I'm sleeping. I can ask my mom to wash my messy sheets if I have an ejaculation at night. It is normal for boys and men to have ejaculations at night.

v  I am a big boy and sometimes my penis has erection and ejaculations. I will do a good job of keeping my erections and ejaculations private by not talking about them with others.

v  If I need to talk about what’s happening to my body or if I have questions, I can privately talk to my mom, dad or school nurse.
