Principals Report: Our pre-school has expanded. We had a wonderful holiday sing along and a wonderful holiday store before the break. On 12/29/15, a fire suppression valve burst in Mrs. Hanson’s class. It was NOT due to a freeze. Mrs. Hanson’s room was destroyed and a large area of the school was flooded, including the classrooms of Mrs. Paulson, Mrs. Golden, and Mr. Marshall. Thanks to our awesome staff, school was able to begin when our students returned from winter break on 1/4/16. Hoping to be back in our normal classrooms by mid February.

Holiday Store Recap: In spite of a couple of people unhappy, the holiday store went great. We deposited $4,471.74. We paid $3,821.75 to Kids Go Shopping. We had $31.65 in expenses. This gave us a $618.34 profit.

New Business: Skyhawks is an after school sports program. We will offer cheer camp and flag football after school this spring. The PTN will need to provide the teachers with flyers to send home with the students, the school provides the venue, and the PTN will earn 10% of program profits. Mrs. Murphy has requested to start an after school art program with the students, we are willing to sponsor it, but want to know more about what she is looking for from the PTN. Tricia Isayev mentioned that we are in need of more Sure Cut Dyes. She will look into what we need and we will follow up. Relay for Life is on May 20, 2016. Theme is Paint the Town Purple.
