Dear Parent/Carer,
PTA KS3 Student Disco Thursday 6th April 2017, 7-9pm
After the success of our past school discos, our PTA and the school have planned one for Thursday 6th April, between 7.00pm and 9.00pm, in the school hall. The disco is for all students in Years 7, 8 and 9.
The event will be ticketed at the price of £5 per person, which will cover entry, a professional DJ, the option to have a photo in an instant photo booth and unlimited squash/water. There will be additional sweets and drinks etc. for sale at the event so students may wish to bring some spending money.
On the evening students with tickets should enter via the student entrance to the school site by 7.30pm. The gate will be locked at this time to ensure student safety. Tickets will be checked and taken on the gate and only King’s students with tickets will be permitted entry.
All areas of the school, other than the main hall and the toilets adjacent to the main hall, will be out of bounds for the duration of the event. Any student found in an out of bounds area will be sent home immediately.
Students will be supervised by school staff and members of the PTA at all times and are expected to conduct themselves appropriately throughout the event. We want them to have a great time but the usual school rules and expectations apply!
Similarly, please could you ensure that students attending are appropriately dressed, including suitable winter coat/shoes if they will be walking to and from the school.
If you would like your son/daughter to attend the disco please ensure that the attached consent slip is completed and returned, with £5 in cash or a cheque made payable to King’s School PTA by end of school on Tuesday 4th April. Please make sure that you include details of how your child will be getting home and an emergency contact number. Students will be able to hand in their reply slips and payment at designated times. These are:
- Break time on Monday 3rd April and Tuesday 4th April outside Mrs Price’s office
- After school on Monday 3rd April and Tuesday 4th April, between 3 and 3:30pm outside Mrs Price’s office
