PSK’S CEO Mr Wei Fang’s visit to SA

Mr Wei Fang is the current CEO of PSK the manufacturers of the Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) machines used by South African External Counterpulsation (SAECP). He was educated at Suzhou University, Professional and qualified as a Lawyer. From Feb.1985-May.1992 he practiced as a lawyer at 2nd Law office of Wuxi Jiangsu Province China. He was awarded as advanced worker by the Wuxi Justice Bureau, outstanding Lawyer in 1990.

Mr Wei became the CEO at Shanghai Zhongchuang Economy Development Co. Ltd in July.1992 until Jan.1998 where he brought the enterprise a profit of around 15 Million USD. He then moved on to become the deputy General Manager at Chongqing Juli Group in March1998 until Jan.2003 where he focused on finance and the company’s internal affairs.

In March 2004 until present he holds the position of CEO at Chongqing Psk-Health Sci-tech Development Co., Ltd in China. It is here that his main focus is on R&D, manufacturing and sales of ECP (External Counterpulstion). These medical machines are used for treatment of Ischaemic heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, erectile dysfunction and stroke patients.

It was our honour to visit the SAECP Innovation centre and have deep discussions regarding the future development of ECP in South Africa. We thank Dr Rakesh Mohanlall, as the pioneer of the ECP and applaud his great efforts for promoting ECP as well as his endeavour to strive to be the first group to successfully get approval for Medical careinsuranceof ECP inSouth Africa. Dr Mohanlall’s visit to us at the Pan African Medical Conference helped us to effectively demonstrate the effectiveness of ECP to all visitors in the medical community throughout Africa. He was complimented by the visiting doctors and cardiologists from abroad on his knowledge of the cardiac field and results attained using PSK’s ECP device in South Africa.

SAECP’s ECP machines have now been fitted with the latest cutting edge patented solenoid valves from PSK that makes these devices the quietist in the world. We at PSK ensure that our professionals are updated with the latest technology available on the market regarding ECP.

We were fortunate to have a meeting with the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Professor T. Puckree and senior staff (Prof. JK Adam & Mr MJ Mohapi) from the Dept. Of Biomedical and Clinical Technology of the Durban University of Technology (DUT) arranged by Dr Mohanlall and facilitated by Mr Shakeel Ori. This will result in training students as well as job creation in the future.
