PSI Industry insights compact: New directory delivers overview of industry certificates
-PSI Sustainability Awards 2017: Application period extended through 1 June
Bringing clarity to a jungle of certificates: That’s what Industry insights compact is now doing for the promotional products industry for the first time. The most comprehensive overview of certificates for the promotional products industry is published by the International Network of the Promotional Products Industry. It supports companies seeking to have their sustainability strategies certified. The directory is available to PSI members at no charge.
Finding the right certificate
What certificates are available? Which ones are important? What does each one stand for? An abundance of certificates for promotional products providers is available. And just as many reasons to try to obtain one. But getting a real overview is difficult. To change that, the PSI has created Industry insights compact, a neat 29-page directory providing businesses with a quick and easy way to identify relevant certificates.
Sorted by certificates for enterprises and products, the content structure is based on the various categories of the PSI Sustainability Awards. Applying will now be easier, too. Companies interested in submitting an ecological, economic or social initiative or an economically and/or ecologically produced promotional product will find in the guide a clear overview and explanations of all pertinent certificates. Application deadline extension
Members and non-members have until 1 June 2017 to submit their applications for the PSI Sustainability Awards. For the first time, young startups can get additional support this year. Companies founded after 1 January 2015 can take advantage of special terms when applying.
Serving as the new awards partner will be the Promo Alliance, the international coalition formed by the PSI, ASI and Sourcing City. Their objective includes introducing new global quality standards, developing new market concepts, creating links with new markets, and promoting training and continuing education.
Awards ceremony
The PSI Sustainability Awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden on 8 September 2017. Winners will be recognised in all eight categories. For additional information about entering and participating in the awards, please visit:
