Ps. 113,7 "He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill"

May God bless you for investing in prison ministry here in Romania!

The most remarkable event was the baptism of about 45 Gypsies on June 13. We wish you were here. This community lives isolated in Miercurea Ciuc. They are the poorest in the area. Now the Lord gave a revival among them. 45 out of the 200 was ready for baptism. It was not easy, they had to set in order their personal and family life. Pastor John carefully prepared everything: clothes, guests, musicians, media presence etc. My greatest joy was to observe among people dressed in white a former inmate whom I met in prison two years ago. Everything was wonderful . In the end we had a little feast. I also had the opportunity to give your gift of gypsy audio bible. This event was publicized on the Internet and in local newspapers. Here are some links. With Google Translate you can read the articles.

I also want to inform you that the work of the assembly hall were conducted well.
The ceiling, stairs and walls are finished. Next the floor is to be done by help of God. Here are the pictures.

Praise the Lord!

Prison ministry updates:

The most notable event of the month was the campaign Human Library on June 26. Almost all volunteers assisted this event. It was an opportunity to share our testimony about our calling in prison ministry, about those life changes that Jesus did with prisoners. For example I had the opportunity to talk with the commander of the county gendarmerie. He was glad to learn about the awakening between the Gypsies and their recent baptism, the history how it started all these in the prison. (“The Human Library is an innovative method designed to promote dialogue, reduce prejudices and encourage understanding. Visitors to a Human Library are given the opportunity to speak informally with “people on loan”. The Human Library enables groups to break stereotypes by challenging the most common prejudices in a positive and humorous manner. Most likely a majority of readers will find that Human Books are people just like you and me.” (
In Focsani brother Dantus organized a picnic with inmates. It was actually a celebration of the ending of the program A Day with Dad.The participants received diplomas. We pray for these detainees, who received good teaching about the Christian family principles to put them in practice.

Andras Attila And Doczy Gy sent a picture about inmates working group.Praying for the Lord to give these young people to overcome temptationscan follow Jesus the narrow path.
Baboi family expects her third child. These days have moved from a one bedroom apertment to a two-bedroom apartment in order to have a larger space. May God bless them!
