This survey instrument has been distributed electronically to all voting facultyminus the provost and deans (n=193). Responses are voluntary and anonymous; they cannot be linked back to an individual. The results will be collected by the Senate Executive Committee and shared with the presidentand the provost (and only these two parties) in advance of thepresident’s annual review of the provost.

The college does not have a job description for the provost. Instead, the13 questions in this evaluation are based on the required and preferred qualifications stated in the most recent job advertisement as well as feedback from faculty on the previous year’s evaluation. The evaluation instrument was approved by the Faculty Senate on 11/20/14.
