Amending Reg. 951 of R.R.O. 1990

(Designation of Parks)

1.(1)Section 2 of Regulation 951 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by striking out the designations of French River Provincial Park and Lake of the Woods Provincial Park and substituting the following:

FRENCH RIVER PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Humboldt, Travers, Struthers, Allen, Bigwood and Mowat and in unsurveyed territory west of Mowat, and islands in Georgian Bay of Lake Huron, now in the Municipality of Killarney, and in the geographic Townships of Bigwood, Mason and Scollard, now in the Municipality of French River, Territorial District of Sudbury, and in the geographic Townships of Falconer, Latchford and Bertram, now in the Municipality of West Nipissing, Territorial District of Nipissing, and in the geographic and municipal Township of Nipissing, and in the geographic Townships of Patterson, Hardy, McConkey, Blair and Mowat, District of Parry Sound containing 73,530 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships and unsurveyed territory designated as Parts 1 to 25, both inclusive, on a plan known as French River Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

LAKE OF THE WOODS PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CLASS)

In unsurveyed territory in the Territorial District of Kenora and in unsurveyed territory in the municipal Township of Lake of the Woods in the Territorial District of Rainy River containing 20,675 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said unsurveyed territory, designated as Parts 1 to 18, both inclusive, on a plan known as Lake of the Woods Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) filed on February 17, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

(2)Section 2 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following designations:

BARRON RIVER PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Township of Petawawa, in the Town of Petawawa, and in the geographic Township of McKay, in the Town of Laurentian Hills, in the County of Renfrew, containing 539 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic townships designated as Part 1 on a plan known as P58 Barron River Provincial Park (Waterway Class) filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

BISSETT CREEK PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Clara and Maria, in the municipal Township of Head, Clara and Maria, in the County of Renfrew, containing 1,676 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic townships designated as Part 1 on a plan known as P125 Bissett Creek Provincial Park (Waterway Class) filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

BON ECHO PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Anglesea and Effingham, in the municipal Township of Addington Highlands, County of Lennox and Addington, and in the geographic township of Barrie, in the municipal Township of North Frontenac, in the County of Frontenac, containing 8,294 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 7, both inclusive, on a plan known as Bon Echo Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) filed on August 27, 2004, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

CHINIGUCHI WATERWAY PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Mackelcan and Rathbun now in the City of Greater Sudbury, and in the geographic Townships of McCarthy, Kelly, McConnell and McNish, in the Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 9,368 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 and 2, on a plan known as P174 Chiniguchi Waterway Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on January 31, 2006, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

DAISY LAKE UPLANDS PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURE RESERVE CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Dill and Neelon, now in the City of Greater Sudbury, in the Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 600 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3, on a plan known as P172 Daisy Lake Uplands Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

GRANT’S CREEK PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Clara and Maria in the municipal Township of Head, Clara and Maria in the County of Renfrew, containing 1,444 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as P126 Grant’s Creek Provincial Park (Waterway Class) filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

GROUNDHOG RIVER WATERWAY PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Clay, Tucker, Hicks, Griffin, Poulett, Montcalm, Strachan and Enid, and in the geographic Townships of Machin, Beardmore and Stringer, in the municipal Township of Fauquier-Strickland, in the Territorial District of Cochrane, and in the geographic Townships of Melrose, Reeves, Penhorwood and Keith, in the Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 11,036 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 6, both inclusive, on a plan known as P1569 Groundhog River Waterway Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

KILLARNEY LAKELANDS AND HEADWATERS PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CLASS)

In the geographic Township of Dieppe, in the City of Greater Sudbury, and in the geographic Townships of Hansen, Goschen, Sale, Killarney, Carlyle and Humboldt, in the Municipality of Killarney, and in the geographic Townships of Truman, Roosevelt, Curtin, Bevin and Caen, in the Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 15,346 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 12, both inclusive, on a plan known as P187, Killarney Lakelands and Headwaters Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

KILLARNEY PROVINCIAL PARK (WILDERNESS CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Hansen, Goschen, Sale, Carlyle, Killarney and Rutherford, now in the Municipality of Killarney, and in the geographic Townships of Roosevelt and Curtin, in the Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 49,325 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Killarney Provincial Park (Wilderness Class), filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

MATTAWA RIVER PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Township of Widdifield, now in the City of North Bay, and in the geographic Township of Papineau, now in the municipal Township of Papineau-Cameron, and in the geographic Township of Ferris, now in the municipal Township of East Ferris, and in the municipal and geographic Townships of Bonfield, Calvin and Mattawan, and in the geographic Townships of Phelps and Olrig, District of Nipissing, containing 14,142 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 28, both inclusive, on a plan known as Mattawa River Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

PETAWAWA TERRACE PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURE RESERVE CLASS)

In the geographic Township of Petawawa, in the Town of Petawawa, in the county of Renfrew, containing 200 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township and islands in the Ottawa River, designated as Parts 1 to 6, both inclusive, on a plan known as P57 Petawawa Terrace Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

RIVER AUX SABLES PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Salter and Tennyson, now in the municipal Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers, in the Territorial District of Sudbury, and in the geographic Townships of Monestime, Prescott, Teasdale, Strain, Mandamin and Boon, in the Territorial District of Algoma, containing 3,423 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 10, both inclusive, on a plan known as P228 River Aux Sables Provincial Park (Waterway Class) filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

RUSHBROOK PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Oshell and Rowat, in the Territorial District of Algoma, and in the geographic Townships of Ouellette and Solski, in the Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 2,159 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as P199 Rushbrook Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

WHITE LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Brothers and Laberge, and unsurveyed territory, in the Territorial District of Thunder Bay, containing 4,048 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships and unsurveyed territory designated as Parts 1 and 2, on a plan known as White Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 29, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
