In 2004 I earned my certification as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.

I have been a NYS APSE board member for the past 6 years and am proud to serve with such devoted and passionate group of people. .

I am currently serving as the President elect at Champlain Valley Business and Professional Women’s Club. I am active in the “We Can Work We Can Save” Campaign with NYAPRS. A number of forums focusing on supportive employment have been coordinated by my-self and Essex County representatives in support of the New York Makes Work Pay.

I was born and brought up in Stockholm, Sweden, I came to USA as an exchange student (many years ago).

I am a proud mother of 3 children, one of them is my son Alexander, 16 years old, born with hydrocephalus. Alexander is legally blind, has left side hemi-paralysis and is learning disabled. He reminds me every day how important full inclusion is in both work and school.
