*Job Description / The Network Security Administrator is responsible for installing, securing, and supporting communications networks (LAN and WAN) and server systems. This includes providing advanced support to ensure information security, integrity, and smooth network operations to provide maximum performance across a multi‐site environment. The position is based in Keane’s Operations Center in King of Prussia, PA. The Administrator is responsible for the translation of business requirements into secure and stable network infrastructure solutions.
This person will support IT infrastructure operations and drive projects from inception through completion. The work requires initiative and judgment. The ideal candidate is a well‐rounded blend of excellent customer support skills and a strong technology background.
Duties:
Including, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provide excellent support and expertise for internal infrastructure systems and networks
  • Support core and remote switches, routers, firewall/VPN Security, and wireless systems
  • Utilize network diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network problems
  • Provide and carry out recommendations for improved network security and performance
  • Remediate network and server vulnerabilities as discovered by network scans and penetration tests
  • Windows server, desktop, and laptop administration and support
  • Exchange/Outlook 2007 & 2010 administration and support, including SPAM management
  • ShoreTel IP phone system administration and support
  • Assist in management of computer room facility systems including HVAC, UPS and security systems/cameras
  • Assist in group effort to manage Support Desk process ensuring end‐users are kept up‐to‐date and tickets are escalated appropriately
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on‐site and remote end‐user issues
  • Collaborate with co‐workers, application analysts and/or vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Assist end‐users with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, software and mobile devices
  • Update/patch software and operating systems as needed using tools such as Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) KACE K1000
  • Provision user accounts and grant permissions to network resources
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation for recurring procedures as well as one‐off resolutions
  • Administer security badges for staff access to office space
  • Participate in on‐call rotation to provide off‐hours support
  • Occasional weekend and off‐hours work will be required

* Skills & Qualifications: /
  • At least seven years of experience in network and server support
  • Experience with ALL of the following:
  • In‐depth understanding of network security, access control, and logging (syslog)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Juniper EX switches and SonicWALL NSA firewalls
  • Experience with VoIP, QoS, and IP Telephony technologies
  • Proficient with the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of coreLAN and WAN services
  • Windows Servers and Active Directory
  • Windows XP & Windows 7 desktops and laptops
  • VMware vSphere
  • Content filtering solutions (on premise & cloud based)
  • Experience with SOME of the following:
  • Encryption technologies including SEDs, Bitlocker and Wave Systems software
  • Access Control (door key) systems and DVR/security cameras
  • Patch Management using Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and KACE K1000 appliance
  • Antivirus and SPAM management using TrendMicro and Barracuda Networks products
  • Dell EqualLogic iSCSI SAN management and support
  • Hardware support including servers, desktops, laptops and printers
  • SSL‐VPN appliance management
  • ShoreTel IP Phone System
  • Exchange 2010 and Blackberry Enterprise Server
  • Mobile device support (iPhone, iPad, Blackberry)
  • GFI FaxMaker software management
  • Backup management using Dell AppAssure and Symantec Backup Exec
  • Microsoft IIS administration
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Computer room HVAC and UPS’s
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education: / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred
