Professional Learning Communities 2007-08

The most promising strategy for sustained, substantive school improvement is building the capacity of school personnel to function as a professional learning community. The path to change in the classroom lies within and through professional learning communities.

Milbrey McLaughlin

Thank you for forming a professional learning team for the 07-08 school year. Teachers who participate on a learning team may earn up to 2 credits each school year.

TenGroup Logs are included in this packet. They should be used each time you meet.

In May, each team member should submit a final evaluation form (yellow copy) to Shelly Smede. Upon receipt of this evaluation, she will send individual registration cards to each person who completes the final evaluation. One credit (15 hours) costs $35 and two credits (30 hours) are $60. Learn lots!
