RULES
- The organisers and landowner do not accept any liability for damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or personal property.
- No unauthorised persons to enter rings.
- Protective hats and appropriate riding clothes must be worn.
- No horse or pony under 4 years may enter any of the ridden classes.
- The Judge’s decision is final.
- No illegal assistance by spectators.
- The Competition will run British Dressage Rules & Regulations.
- Objections must be made within 15 minutes of the offence and must be accompanied by £10 which will be returned if the objection is sustained.
- Under no circumstances will entry fees be refunded due to cancellation by competitors (unless accompanied by a Veterinary Certificate).
- Competitors who enter more than one class which may clash do so entirely at their own risk. Classes will not be held up and no entries will be refunded.
- Age (where applicable) as on the day of the show.
- KingstonMaurwardCollege reserves the right to cancel or amalgamate classes and hold the prize money if insufficient entries.
- The Committee reserves the right to refuse or cancel any entry or entries of any Person if they shall deem it fit to do so without reasons for doing so.
- Anyone found galloping around arenas will be asked to leave.
- The Judge may disqualify any competitor for misuse of whips or spurs.
- No lungeing.
- Competitors who disobey any Judge or Official’s decision could be refused entry in future Kingston Maurward College competitions.
- Competitors are responsible for adhering to their start times. Riders arriving late may be allowed to take part at the Judge’s discretion.
- In the event of adverse weather conditions, it is the competitor’s responsibility to telephone the Show Secretary on 01305 215135 or Manor Stables on 01305 215063.
- All dogs must be kept on a lead.
